About
Joe Fischer is a photography instructor who teaches in some the world’s most iconic places. Originally a bird photography guide and scuba diving instructor in California, he understands how to create in all conditions and teaches anyone how to take stunning photos on land and underwater.
Landscape & Wildlife Photography
From California to the rain forests of Borneo, Joe practices a wide variety of landscape and wildlife photography. He is at home teaching and his main specialty is night photography and light painting. This is where he combines nature with the mesmerizing Milky Way Galaxy. Joe uses his skills as an instructor to teach people how to use the camera and unlock their own artistic vision. This can be key to capturing great images because some of the best images are taken in tricky, natural lighting conditions. Joe teaches classes at the Viewpoint Gallery in Sacramento or by appointment in the US and abroad.
Underwater Photography
Joe became a NAUI scuba instructor in 1998 at a University and later switched to PADI as Divemaster and Underwater Photography Instructor. He uses his skills at teaching in the water to show people how to work with camera settings and unlock their artistic vision. This is important, because some of the best underwater photos rely on camera skills blended with artistic talent. Joe enjoys diving as much as he enjoys teaching. His motto is to have fun while helping people take stunning photos on their precious diving holidays. Please visit his other site at Underwater Photo to view his amazing underwater gallery and learn about his other photography classes.
