Milky Way & Light Painting | White Mountains
Spring Tour | April or May 2025 | $359
Night photography opens a whole new world of creativity, where the beauty of the night sky meets the artistry of light. High in the White Mountains, at an elevation of 11,000 feet under crystal clear skies, sits beautifully sculpted ancient bristle cone pines that have been there for over 3,000 years. They’ll provide unique subjects for light painting, combined with panoramas of the Milky Way Galaxy. Limited to 6 people.
During the included lunch on Saturday, there will be a photo review session and a demonstration for processing night sky images using Photoshop and DXO software. This will provide you with a chance to review your photos before a second night of adventure.

Milky Way & Star Trails | Mono Lake
October 2025 | $329
Night photography is an exciting and rewarding challenge for photographers. This tour focuses on wide open views of the Milky Way and world famous Tufa’s at Mono Lake. For decades this location has dazzled photographers with mirror-like water and excellent night sky conditions. Throughout the weekend we’ll work on creating Milky Way panoramas and star trails reflecting off the water, and if time permits we can do light painting too. Limited to 6 people.
During the included lunch on Saturday, there will be a photo review session and a demonstration for processing night sky images using Photoshop and DXO software. This will provide you with a chance to review your photos before a second night of adventure.
